Chris is one of few Expert level instructors in the UK. Expert levels can only be achieved by grading in Israel. In 2022, as a testament to his expertise in Krav Maga, Chris was invited to join the IKMF's global Expert Instructor Team (EIT). Chris enjoys sparring, and takes his training very seriously.

Affy's favourite techniques are those involving weapons. She has trained in Israel and competed in boxing and MMA cage fights.

Andy joined the FTS Instructor Team in 2019 and holds additional qualifications as a certified Kids Instructor and Women Instructor. What interests him most about krav maga is its simplicity, helping you to deal with a problem as quickly and safely as possible.

Reece is the newest addition to the FTS Instructor Team, having completed the IKMF Civilian Instructor Course in 2019. Although having trained in other martial arts since his early teens, Reece was drawn to the realism of Krav Maga, which he likes to bring this into his classes.

Richard has been training with FTS since 2017, obtaining all five Practitioner levels as a student with the club, and more recently obtaining Graduate 2 alongside completing the IKMF Civilian Instructor Course. He got into Krav Maga wanting to build his confidence, as well as learn a self defence system based on realism and not weighed down by tradition, which he found to be the case for many martial arts he has studied throughout his life.

Szczepan has many years of krav maga training under his belt and joined the FTS Instructor Team in 2018. He is focused in his training and enjoys sparring.

Rica was a regular student at FTS Krav Maga from 2017 to 2019. She left the UK in July 2019 and is currently based in Vientiane, Laos (where the IKMF is yet to be established), but still provides remote support for the club's website.

Tom has been a regular student at FTS Krav Maga since 2018. As our Media Manager, he creates videos and images of our club events, while training as a practitioner of Krav Maga.

David joined the FTS Instructor Team in 2019 and holds additional qualifications as a certified Kids Women Instructor.

David became involved in Krav Maga in 2014, mainly to improve his personal fitness and to pick up basic skills to keep himself and his family safe. He quickly came to realise Krav Maga’s usefulness and effectiveness as a complete physical and mental defence and protection system, suited for people of all ages and walks of life. What started as a once a week hobby, has developed into a passion to keep on learning and help others get interested and involved in Krav Maga.

David is particularly interested in developing and teaching strategies and techniques to counter intimidation and threats of violence.

Sal has been training with FTS since 2018 and previously trained in Muay Thai.  Sal joined the FTS Instructor Team in 2022.

Sal became an instructor as he believes that Krav Maga can be for everyone and providing students with the necessary skill sets to protect themselves, whilst building confidence through self-belief to deal with any situation and learn one of the most effective self-defence martial art.

Danny has been training with FTS since 2017.  He is a black belt in Ju-Jistu and has also trained in Brazilian Ju-Jistu and MMA.  Danny joined the FTS Instructor Team in 2022.

Danny feels that Krav Maga is a no-nonsense approach to self-defence which is efficient and effective.  Danny became an instructor to help others in their Krav Maga journey to succeed, reach their goals and build confidence whilst being able to deal with a stressful situation.
